Spring Soccer: March 8 - May 18, 2025
About Spring
Spring Soccer is our secondary season. Your child will play in the same age division as they played in the prior fall season. For info on which age division your child is in, please see our Age Chart.
Some key facts about spring:
- The spring season is ten weeks long, with a break for Easter weekend, and there is no post-season tournament
- The youngest divisions (5U and 6U) have weekend games with practice just before the game
- 5U-8UG girls' divisions will have games on Saturdays, while 5U-8UB boys' divisions will play on Sundays to avoid baseball conflicts
- 10U and older may have some doubleheader weekends each season, and may have Saturday/Sunday games depending on division. Check with your Division Commissioner for details.
- Practice schedules are set after teams are formed based on field availability and head coach schedules
Registration
2025 Spring Soccer Registration is currently OPEN.
Log in to your account (or create an account) to see if there are any registration opportunities for your children.
Registration opens in December and runs until February 15, 2025. Detailed schedules will not be available until the week before the season starts. Division Commissioners will be in touch regarding team formation, drafts, schedule and other details at some point in March. If you have any questions, please email your DC (contact info on Board of Directors page).
Due to the number of coaches and fixed team sizes, we may not have space for all registered players. Please register early for the best chance of your player being placed on a team. Teams do not carry over from prior seasons; they are formed anew each season.
Fees:
Registration fees are discounted for returning players, and for early registration
- Returning players who registered in fall, 2024, and register for spring before Feb 1 pay a Region Fee of $75
- Players who did not play in fall will pay a region fee of $165, plus the annual AYSO membership fee of $25. (Even if your child played in AYSO in a season before fall 2024, they are considered a "new" player for the purpose of this Membership Year
- Note: The discount is reflected at checkout

Age Division Specifics
Below is a list of some of the key differences between each division within Region 18. The divisions start with small teams, no score keeping, and no goalkeepers for our youngest players who are just discovering the game. As the player's abilities and capacity increase, the complexity and expectations increase until our athletes are playing competitive soccer following all of the FIFA Laws of the Game.
