Fall Soccer is our Primary Season. Registration generally runs from late April or May through the end of July. The regular season runs from September to November, followed by the Beach Cup for eligible divisions. If you have any questions about Fall Soccer, please be sure to read this entire page, down to and including the Chart and Notes at the bottom of the page.
2024 Fall Registration is OPEN.
For more Registration details see our Registration Info page. To find out the status of a specific Division, visit the Age Chart to see what division your child would be in and then visit the Board of Directors page to find the Contact Info for your Division Commissioner.
If you are willing to volunteer, we always need Coaches and Referees! The only reason we fill up and cannot accept every child who would like to play is because we run out of parents willing to volunteer to coach. No experience necessary. We offer extensive training. Please check out our Volunteer Page to learn more.
Teams will be formed in mid-August and you should hear from your Head Coach or Division Commissioner (DC) by the end of August. Teams are formed either by a Draft (7U and above) or by the DC doing their best to group friends/classmates. All friend requests and coach requests should be entered on the registration form - but the information is mostly used in the 5/6U Divisions - and is never guaranteed. You can return to your registration form to update it (click on the pencil icon next to their name) any time before the end of registration. The best way to have friends play together is to volunteer to coach the team.
Game Schedules will not be released until the week before the season starts.
The first game for most divisions will be the weekend after Labor Day (9/7/24). 16/19U will start 8/31. Divisions 5U, 6U, 7U and 8U have games on Saturdays in Fall. Divisions 10U & Older have games on Saturdays (primary) and Sundays (secondary). Beyond that we do not have any details. Please do not ask. We know you have other children and other activities you are trying to plan around. We do too. There is a lot of work to do before we can finalize teams and schedules. There are hundreds of variables, including coaching conflicts for parents generous enough to coach multiple teams. We will post the schedule as soon as humanly possible, but experience tells us that it wont be until the week before the season starts.
Practice Schedules will not be released until the week before the season starts.
Practices will begin the week before the first games (the week of Labor Day). Practices are during the week, at a time requested by the Head Coach. Beyond that we do not know any other details. As with Game Schedules, we will work hard to post practice schedules as early as possible.
If your child is on a Wait List.... VOLUNTEER!! The reason we have wait lists is because we need more parents to volunteer to coach. Anyone can do it. You do not need any experience. Please see our Volunteer Page for details. While we usually are able to place most kids from the wait list onto a team, it is not guaranteed unless you volunteer to coach.
Please see the Division Chart below for more information about your Division.
Please see the Board of Directors page for the name and email address of your Division Commissioner.
Thank you for being a part of AYSO18!!
AYSO Region 18 Division Chart Summary
Below is a list of some of the key differences between each division within Region 18. The divisions start with small teams, no score keeping, and no goalies for our youngest players who are just discovering the game. As the player's abilities and capacity increase, the complexity and expectations increase until our athletes are playing competitive soccer following all of the FIFA Laws of the Game.

A Few Important Notes about this Chart:
- Listed Team Sizes are Targets and may vary slightly depending upon the number of players and coaches registered for each Division.
- Team Sizes are kept as small as possible to maximize playing time and learning opportunities, while limiting bench time. Attendance is important, both for the development of your player and to make sure your team is not left shorthanded.
- U5 & U6 Games include both practice time and game time during one 60-min session held on Saturdays. Teams start with a practice session and then run a short game. Actual players on the field may vary depending on attendance.
- All Divisions try to hold most of their games on Saturdays, however starting at 10U, the larger fields and large Division sizes, combined with limited field space, often force our scheduler to put some games on Sundays.
- Starting at 10U there may be 2-3 Doubleheader Weekends per season.
- Starting at U14 there may be Double Header Weekends as much as half the season.
- Practice schedule will depend on Field Availability and Head Coach requests.
If you have specific questions, feel free to contact the Division Commissioner for your child's division. All Division Commissioners and their contact information is listed on our Board of Directors page.
